Charli Winters.   Australian female author born in Queenlsand in the 1970’s. Charli has lived in Mackay, Norfolk Island, Canberra, Brisbane, and now lives Sunshine Coast in Queensland.  Charli has been a full time carer to 2 children for 16 years – one is profoundly autistic and the other has Aspergers.   Since 2010, she has become a single parent, continuing her role as carer.  Charli is passionate about writing and doesn’t see herself ever stopping.
Charli loves watching the Ellen show.  She finds Ellen inspiring with her approach to life, her campaign against bullying, the way she helps others and in general brightens people’s lives with her wonderful humor.
Charli’s goals in life are to be healthy, be happy, be among friends, family, and to appreciate the small stuff. She wants to keep bringing her books to the world, so that aside from feeling a sense of personal accomplishment, she can fully fund care for her autistic child once he becomes an adult.  Her drive for success is also owing to her strong desire to be in a position to dedicate funds towards charities for Autism, and either breast cancer research, or charities that help families going through the very difficult experience. Her beautiful mother is a two time breast cancer survivor and she has two good friends that have also been diagnosed and gone through treatments for breast cancer. To Charli, they are all inspiring women as are any of the women and families who go through what is sadly a common battle.
Charli loves writing. Aside from her family, it is her passion. Her only real regret in life is that she didn’t start writing sooner.
